Title Register

(Official Copy)

An official copy of a Title Register is the main title document of land and property, and is often called the Title Deed. It is the official document which reveals the name and address of the registered owners, and provides detailed information on matters affecting ownership; such as easements (e.g. rights of way), restrictive covenants, charges, maintenance responsibilities, tenure (e.g. freehold or leasehold), lease agreements, transfers, conveyances, title number, purchase price and more.

Title Plan

(Official Copy)

An official copy of a Title Plan is the official document which confirms the position of the legal boundaries and shows the extent/area of ownership. Maintenance responsibilities for boundary structures (e.g. fences and walls), restrictive covenants and easements (e.g. rights of way and parking rights) referred to in the Title Register are often indicated on the Title Plan by coloured markings, T-markings and other symbols. Title Plans are drawn to a scale of 1:1250.
