Our Map Search service has been developed to provide customers with the facility to obtain official copies of Title Registers and Title Plans for properties and land without a postal address (i.e. fields, barns, woodland, tracks, building plots) and where the Title Number is not known.
The Title Register reveals full ownership information, including the details of who owns it, when they bought it, the mortgage lender (if any), any rights of way or restrictions and the purchase price (if it has been sold since 1st April 2000). It is extensively used to check the ownership details of a property or land, the terms upon which it is owned, and provides a wealth of additional property related information.
The Title Plan shows the land owned and the boundaries of the property or land, maintenance responsibilities, rights of way and other easements. The Title Plan is designed to be read in conjunction with the Title Register.
